Welcome to the Molesey Juniors FC
website.
The aim of the website is to provide
useful information about us, yet
be
easy to use.
Well-organised and financially
stable, Molesey Juniors is one of the largest and oldest clubs in the Elmbridge area. Founded in 1953, to give the youth of the area the
opportunity to enjoy playing competitive football in a safe and friendly
environment.
We have over 15 teams covering the
age groups from Under 7 to Under 17. We have submitted our application for
F.A. Chartered Club status, and are confident that we will be granted that
status in the near future.
All teams are based at The
Wilderness, situated off Molesey Park Rd, a tree-lined site surrounded by
the River Mole, River Ember and Island Barn Reservoir. Molesey Trust, a
charitable organisation, manages the grounds, exclusively for the youth of
the area.
We are very much a “member’s” club,
entirely run by volunteers (not just parents), who give up their time to
help provide a framework for organised football for the children to enjoy.
We have a very active and successful
fund raising team who work tirelessly to raise money to develop the Club. We
have ambitious plans for the Wilderness, and numerous projects are ongoing
at the moment.
We trust you will find our website
interesting and useful. If you do have any comments on how to improve the
site, please e-mail me, Pat Gormley at
Gormleys@emolesey.fsnet.co.uk
Finally I must thank Rebecca, a
sister of one of our players, for designing and creating this website for
us.
